Job Description
As part of a growing firm in the asset management industry, the candidate will have a diverse set of responsibilities within the finance area. The candidate will work directly with the Operations team and report to Director of Finance. Will be responsible for fund administration, reporting, compliance, and investor communications..
Primary responsibilities include:
Recording transactions in the GL system for the funds and the management company
Recording Transactions and Maintaining the loan administration system
Must be proficient in excel
Preparing capital call and distribution notices
Maintaining and updating various schedules relating to the portfolio and fund marketing
Preparing quarterly/annual financial statements
Preparing quarterly/annual regulatory filings
Assisting with the annual audits
Qualifications
The candidate must have 2-3 years of public/private experience. The candidate must also have a BA/BS in Accounting/Finance. Candidate must have experience working in Great Plains or other accounting software.
