High energy company seeks an outgoing and dynamic Controller to join their team!
Position includes a wide variety of responsibilities including:
Prepare or review all aspects of the accounting function including, A/R, A/P, day to day general accounting, and payroll.
the project accounting function including the change order and project closeout process.
Manage the monthly close process and prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports.
Coordinate with outside CPA firm for year-end tax compliance
Review contracts ? client and vendor contracts
Manage banking, legal and insurance relationships
Prepare annual budget and track budget variances
Implement appropriate internal controls
HR management and oversight
Provide leadership, mentoring and support staff
Requirements of the selected candidate:
BS Degree in accounting
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Full cycle A/P, A/R experience
Job cost/project accounting experience
Stable job record
Excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong Excel skills
Willingness to roll-up your sleeves
Team-oriented attitude
