Purpose of This Position
Responsible for bank reconciliation and accounting functions.
Job Functions
Monthly bank reconciliation of all PPCP bank and credit card accounts.
Month end internal allocations of stock inventory.
Record various month end fees, including credit card processing and postage.
Assist with site cash processing.
General accounting office duties as needed.
Bank deposits for partners and PPCP bank accounts .
Requirements
Knowledge
Knowledge of accounting systems and the generally accepted accounting principles.
Knowledge of basic mathematics.
Skills
Perform accurate data entry, both alpha and numeric.
Good communications skills both, verbal and written.
Good organization skills.
Skill in interpreting and analyzing financial data.
Must be able to multi-task and have attention to detail.
Abilities
Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness.
Ability to accurately perform mathematical functions and statistical analysis.
Ability to understand and interpret policies and regulations.
Ability to ensure compliance with deadlines.
Ability to work with and learn new systems that are implemented.
Ability to prepare and analyze comprehensive reports.
Ability to effectively communicate and work with others.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, some college accounting courses preferred.
Minimum of 3 plus years of experience in accounting, preferably in health care and exposure to general ledger, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
