Responsibilities include color correction, retouching and photo composition. Ablitiy to work with art directors, production artists, and creative directors all while achieving goals in time frame allotted. Position will require a strong work ethic, the desire to go above and beyond, ability to multi-task, hit multiple deadlines, be accurate, and a team player. Candidate must demonstrate good follow through, initiative and innovation.
Analyze image content, determine any needed enhancement and perform color correction, cosmetic retouching and build image composites as needed for intended final use. Review proofs, either paper or virtual, and compare to merchandise to evaluate color and content accuracy. Color correct files to match the merchandise and to fit within the print color space. Alter image content using Photoshop to achieve final creative intent and insure color accuracy.
Job :
? Perform color correction and cosmetic retouching on still image content.
? Determine conformity of content to both individual brand and the Sears Holdings style guide.
? Analyze color accuracy of content, determine and perform necessary enhancement.
? Prepare and Convert image files to appropriate color space.
? Prepare Image content for vehicle appropriate usage.
? Reference and maintain electronic style and color standards or guides.
? Verify quality and completeness of your own work by soft proofing or viewing Epson proofs.
? Compare proofs, paper or virtual, to samples to validate color accuracy, composition and printability.
? Communicate with other Creative staff to meet project expectations. Preferred Skills:
? Expert knowledge in Adobe Photoshop.
? Work closely with photographers and attend shoots where appropriate to gain further knowledge of the photographers style and retouching instructions.
? Convert files, color correct and submit files to production for proofing.
? Partner with Art Director during the retouching process to ensure all retouching requirements are being addressed.
? Experience working in SWOP and GRACOL environment.
? Practical experience applying principles of color theory.
? Understanding of file types used in Print and in Digital Applications.
? Excellent organizational skills.
? Excellent oral communication skills.
? Ability to function within a team environment.
