Object-Oriented Programmer Job Opening in Secaucus, New jersey - Job Brief:
Established and expanding software development company which specializes in financial trading platform development is seeking a talented object-oriented programmer (OOP) to work on their flagship product. An ideal candidate will have experience coding for financial services products related to capital markets trading. Strong familiarity with fixed-income securities including mortgage-backed securities (MBS), US Treasury Securities (UST) and Agency Securities is highly desirable.
Experience with dynamic programming languages including, but not limited to Java virtual machine (JVM) based languages is a plus e.g. Ruby, Groovy, Python and Smalltalk. An ideal candidate
should enjoy working with multiple programming languages (Polyglot) and eager to learn and apply. Must be a team player who finds the prospect of growing a software development business exciting.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in similar position
BSc/BA in computer science, software engineering or relevant experience
