We have an immediate opening for an Office Manager/Accountant at our office located in Mesquite. This position oversees billing, invoicing as well as management and administration of scheduling and reporting. They will also be is responsible for the daily management of the office staff.
Job Description:
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Ability perform account payable duties, including processing of invoices through billing and maintenance of payable files utilizing QuickBooks
Performs customer service duties including but not limited to, computer entry of orders, invoicing, credit memos; maintains customer files.
Manage office (equipment; office supplies; letterhead; envelopes; break room supplies)
Ensuring deadlines are met, such as presentations to prospective and current clients
Invoicing clients (to include spreadsheets on a monthly and annual basis showing bookings)
Creating spreadsheets showing monthly reports
Prepares electronic transfers and payments.
Reconciles accounts payable transactions.
Reviews, prepares and runs payroll checks.
Prepare 1099s at year end.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
Maintain vendor files, corresponds with vendors and respond to inquiries.
Provides supporting documentation for audits.
Posts bank deposits into the accounting system.
Perform reconciliation of credit card accounts.
Payroll, setting up child support withholding
Experience with Jonas accounting is a plus
