Derivatives Accountant Job Opening in Charlotte, North carolina - Our client is seeking talented Derivatives Accountants to join their team!
This person must have a strong understanding of application and technical accounting standards, financial reporting, valuation techniques and methodologies for derivatives, securities and other financial instruments. This person would be responsible for financial accounting, regulatory reporting, analysis and compliance for Tax, Statutory, GAAP and IFRS.
GAAP or IFRS experience is a bonus!
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years? experience in regulatory accounting
Preferred skills
Derivatives accounting and reporting experience
Accounting, valuation and reporting for vanilla and exotic equity derivatives instruments
Debits and credits knowledge a plus
Detail-oriented - ensuring compliance
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to partner with all levels of the organization
