Work Comp Medical/Lien Collector Job Opening in los angeles, California - Work Comp Medical/Lien Collector We are looking for a Work Comp Medical / Lien Collector. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 plus years of Workers Compensation Lien Collection experience, knowledge of the Labor Codes and fee schedule a must. Primary Responsibilities: Communicate with claims adjusters and attorneys Negotiate settlement on claims Handle a large volume of litigated claims Review and respond to all correspondence from Workers' Compensation insurance carriers, Be able to make appearances at the WCAB for Lien Conferences and Trials when necessary LOTS OF PHONE CALLS TO RESOLVE UNPAID CLAIMS. Medisoft experience a plus. Would prefer experience but may train the right candidate. Full time position. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Excellent computer skills of MS Office 2. Impeccable phone manor, excellent verbal and written communication skills 3. The ability to multitask and prioritize workload 4. The ability to work well in a team small office environment 5.
