Coordinating the sales & marketing efforts of the hotel, conference center, restaurant and bar in order to maximize revenue and profitability.
Responsible for ensuring sales goals are met
Oversee all aspects of outside sales & marketing
Conduct and continuously update local market research
Maintain professional relationships with all accounts including Choice national sales
Develop and execute the hotel?s sales & marketing plan
Achieve and exceed the revenue targets for the property
Access the market potential and develop new business opportunities while at the same time increasing revenues from existing customers
Conduct and enhance public and community relationships
Develops and initiates all actions necessary to achieve revenue goals
Manages hotel, conference, restaurant & bar marketing efforts and online presence & engagement
Requirements
Degree in Marketing Preferred or equivalent years of relevant work experience required
Service experience helpful
Prior experience using Windows-based software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook highly preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask
Strong selling and negotiating skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Superior customer service skills
Capability to work independently
Ability to travel
Able to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends
Use of personal vehicle
