POSITION SUMMARY:
The Activity Director is a key and visible department manager working directly with all residents and families. Some of the duties and responsibilities of this position are:
Planning and implementing activities to meet the resident's specific needs, to include large group, small group, and one-on-one participation
Documenting as required by State and Federal regulations
Inputting data on the Minimum Data Set and participation in plan of care, and other assessments and updates
Delivering the resident's mail, news letters, and other facility information
Recruitment, retention, and involvement of volunteers with residents
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
High School diploma or equivalent is required; college degree is preferred
valid driver's license in good standing with State of Georgia
