We are currently looking for a Life Science Sales Support Specialist to be based in Western region of the United States who is passionate about ensuring our potential customers have outstanding technical and application support throughout the sales process for the Hygiena BAX® System.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide industry specific technical and application support for Technical Sales Managers (TSM?s) throughout the sales process ? prospecting, sale and account management
Assist TSM?s with product demos, workshops and on-site customer evaluations, technical training and product support
Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and product management to provide customer feedback on new or potential products and industry trends
Provide 24-hour technical support via rotation in after-hours on-call program
Manage an annual territory operating budget
Develop intimate knowledge of the customer?s needs and operational processes. Create and implement plans to ensure optimal usage of the products thereby enhancing customer satisfaction
Represent Hygiena at professional and scientific and industry trade shows
Collect and communicate market intelligence regarding products, applications and competitors.
SKILLS:
B.S. in Biology, Microbiology, Food Science
Working technical knowledge of Microbiology or Molecular Biology
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Pathogen Food testing experience preferred
Ability to travel 50-75%
