Job Description/Skills: a) Maintenance and repair of Industrial Production Machinery. This includes troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and electronic components. Typically this would be electric motors, ball screws, spindle heads, gearboxes, hydraulic components (pumps, cylinders, motors, hoses, etc), pneumatic components, process control units, and feedback devices. The technician will have to be able to disconnect the machining center?s electrical and hydraulic power sources, troubleshoot the problem, and make the necessary repairs. b) Also, typical preventive maintenance such as (lubricating, swapping bearings, etc) VII.
