Sales Associate Account Manager Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - The Associate Account Manager will:
Prospect for and establish new account relationships
Develop relationship with vendors
Generate quotes for complex solutions
Analyze technology needs for customers
General understanding of technologies and business structure
Promptly responding to email requests
Collaborate closely with our tech-support team
Quote and follow up on quotations
Responsibilities:
Generate and provide customer quotes for complex or custom solutions
Establish strategies that will result in increased sales (both existing and new customers)
Analyze technology needs of the customer
Penetrate customer accounts at multiple levels to influence decision makers
Provide guidance/training to resellers in selling and supporting Westcon solutions
Provide new accounts with guidance and support during the onboarding process
Facilitate appropriate financial arrangements with customer and Westcon?s finance team
Carry out vendor promotions and marketing activities
Develop and maintain vendor relationships that produce referral business opportunities
Gain thorough understanding of customer business and strategic plans as they relate to Westcon products and services
Qualifications:
1+ years sales experience, cold calling, and establishing leads
Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of and ability to accurately apply pricing, Gross Profit, discounts, margin calculations
General knowledge of IT networking/security industry preferred
Familiarity with principles of promoting, and demonstrating products and services
Experience with Microsoft office, and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Salesforce)
BS/BA preferred
