Your Job:
We are looking for a qualified staff accountant to work under the supervision of the manager of accounting. He / She will maintain financial reports, records, and general ledgers; prepare and analyze budgets; and perform general bookkeeping.
Responsibilities to include:
Process payroll in an accurate and timely manner
Process purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner
Process expense reports in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with departmental procedures
File, order supplies and perform miscellaneous duties for department
Assist with developing and implementing the accounting policies and procedures of the company
Help to ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP and company standards
Assist with month-end close, prepare monthly and quarterly financial data
Review records of accounts and input entries into proper accounts
Develop and implement proper keeping of financial records, making use of current technologies
Create forms and manuals for accounting and book keeping personnel
Qualifications:
Education (certificates, courses)
Must have a degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA is a plus
Experience (professional experience)
At least 4 solid years of accounting and 7+ of cumulative relevant experience (accounting operations and/or audit)
