Financial Analyst I Job Opening in Dumfries, Virginia - Objective(s) of Position: LTi is seeking a Financial Analyst I to provide support to Marine Corps Engineer Systems program, Quantico, VA. Provide direct support to the Government customer for assisting in preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: This position includes the following regular duties:
Provide technical financial management support services to the PM, Engineer Systems Financial Manager, Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the consolidation of Phasing Plan spreadsheets, Status of Funds (SOF) Reports/, expenditures and execution rates, funding control spreadsheets, and fiscal summary charts.
Develop Weekly Obligation Reports by appropriation type, fiscal year and Marine Corps Program Code (MCPC) and use the Whissler Report, Navy Headquarters System (NHS) for updates.
Draft, write, format, update and illustrate the Tri-Annual Review Report in compliance with the Financial Management Regulation (DOD 7000.14R).
Validate accounting transactions, fiscal codes, payment history via COBRA, EDI source documentation, and Period of Performance on all funding lines.
Coordinate requirements with the customer and contractor team leads, and technical services representatives.
Position is contingent upon contract award
Qualifications (Knowledge and Experience) - The successful candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree. 1-2 years of related experience with Marine Corps financial management process.
Be successful with goal-setting, team-building, training, and personnel management.
Ability to display sound judgment and prioritize requirements.
Excellent interpersonal communicative skills.
Good computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office.
Secret clearance required.
General Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Some travel may be required.
Lifting required which can range to 70 pounds.
