Accounting Clerk Position
Accounting Clerks will train with our Accounting Team to learn our software and systems while beginning to take over several duties. We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented individual that is willing to learn and manage their own tasks. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
Our Accounting Team will be working with the Accounting Clerks on a daily basis to train them in the various duties of the position.
High school diploma
Excellent communication skills
Professional and friendly demeanor on the phone
Highly driven and ambitious
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior accounting members
Accounting experience is a plus
College degree is a plus
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Ensure all bills received are paid on time
Manage files with all bills received and paid
Accounts Receivable
Execute collection calls to borrowers
Reconcile outstanding payments due
Record payments
Filing/managing processing paperwork
Review processing loan documents and manage all loan documents
Assist with month-end closing
Perform bank reconciliation
Prepare credit card entries
Prepare month-end accrual journal entries
Assist with other accounting or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time
