Title & Escrow Business Development - Sales Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - JOB SUMMARY:
The Colorado Division of Golden Dog Title and Trust, a builder-owned, full-service title and escrow company, plans to continue expanding its operations into retail residential, commercial and refinance services. We are currently looking for one or two experienced Business Development Professional with recent residential retail, commercial retail and refinance title and escrow sales experience. The ideal candidate will bring, maintain and build new referral relationships in the real estate and mortgage industry. Outside title sales experience and knowledge of the industry are a huge plus for the position; however, sales success in other industries will be considered - especially within the real estate industry partner areas. The Business Development Profession will report to the Colorado Division Operations Manager and may be assigned a geographic territory.
Compensation will be negotiated at offer, but it will include the opportunity to be at the top of the industry!
This is a ground floor opportunity to help grow an already expanding title company! If the circumstances are right, we will consider a sales and closing team to expand this opportunity. We will also consider part-time applicants under the right circumstances.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the development of a sales and marketing plan to expand the current referral base of real estate agents, lenders, builders and developers.
Market Golden Dog Title and Trust through personal meetings and contacts.
Market Golden Dog Title and Trust at industry events and conventions.
Seek and coordinate continuing education classes through sponsorship.
Report business development and sales activity as required by the Operations Manager.
Maintain a sales and marketing database containing prospective and current referral sources.
Maintain industry knowledge by participating in continuing education opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least one year of successful title and escrow development experience. Multiple years of sales and marketing with real estate agents and lenders may be substituted for title and escrow specific sales.
Industry specific knowledge and understanding of title and escrow products and services.
Understanding of the competitive nature of title sales and marketing as well as the statutory and regulatory parameters under which such sales and marketing must be conducted.
Ability to operate in a MS Office and web-based environment.
Must be self-motivation and possess an entrepreneurial spirit with excellent communication skills.
College degree preferred, but not required for the right professional.
Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus.
Must have or get a Colorado Title Insurance Producers license.
