Pay ? $30,000 Base + Commission + Health insurance + Company Car
Commission ? start at 5%, bump to 7% after 6 months

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a start up company early and grow with us. We are a craft distillery based in the foothills of the Adirondack Park in the Lake George Region. We carry Gin, Vodka, Rye and Bourbon whiskey , as well as several liqueurs.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual to spearhead our sales effort in downstate NY. You would start in the area, eventually moving into NYC.
As this is one of the most populated and wealthy areas of the state, there is significant earning potential. Base salary of $30,000 with company paid health insurance. For commission, once you reach your sales target of $1700 per week you receive 5% on gross sales. After 6 months, the commission will be increased to 7%. You would inherit approximately 60 accounts in your territory, including nearly all of the major outlets as well as the states third largest liquor store, in the Poughkeepsie area.
Sales experience is required. This position requires motivation and self-discipline. You will be expected to reach your sales goal weekly and end your week with a tasting of our products at one of our outlets. These are usually done on Fridays.
Detailed sales and expense reports are expected. You must dress and act professionally to represent our brand with integrity.
You will be required to attend meetings at our headquarters periodically. For your first several months you will be working closely with our sales manager to learn the business and hone in our effective sales strategies.
