Summary
The Sales Manager will be a highly-motivated sales professional with proven success working with contractors, healthcare facility managers, architects and project managers along with other key targets identified in the sales plan as we expand our focus to the NYC Philadelphia corridor.
Candidate shall reside and be well established in the territory - Metro NYC-Philadelphia - NJ - CT
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of operating with minimal direction and supervision and have demonstrated skills in multi-tasking, organization, self-direction, relationship building. Superb verbal and non-verbal communication skills are key to this position and essential to translating the value built into our products. Based in Brunswick, Maine STARC Systems products are now in 22 states and we are doubling sales annually. This sales territory includes Metro NYC, New Jersey, Connecticut and the greater Philadelphia area. Indirectly, you will have authority to generate sales throughout the United States.
This is a unique opportunity to help a rapidly growing early stage company grow into a nationally recognized provider of products and services to Healthcare and other industries. Position Responsibilities
Increase the brand awareness of STARC Systems within the healthcare and contractor communities.
Develop long-term relationships with healthcare facility managers, healthcare contractors, architects, specification writers, designers and general contractors and become the expert that these professionals consult with when making infection control containment decisions.
Provide the necessary tools to these decision makers including product information, samples and specification writing assistance to ensure our products are used throughout your territory.
Conduct an organized sales call schedule to targeted clients and prospects, with the assistance of various databases to which our company has access and our internal sales team.
Liaise with and support contractors on active projects, providing assistance where required, document any issues or problems, and photograph both in-progress and completed installations for future case studies and/or promotion.
Work with any applicable trade associations to bolster relationships and identify new clients.
Coordinate with our inside sales team in all aspects of the sales, order entry and customer service processes.
Some overnight travel required.
Desired Qualifications:
Superb presentation skills and the demonstrated ability to execute a professional sales process.
Professional prospecting and networking skills are a must.
A passion for the industry.
Entrepreneurial spirit and thinking.
Minimum of 5 years total professional sales experience, with minimum of 3 years with products, healthcare facilities and/or contractors.
Bachelor Degree Preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the defined territory.
Familiarity with CRM, preferably .
Job Info:
This is a full time salaried position $100,000 - $160,000, including commission and bonus plus vehicle expense. Bonus and accelerated commission above forecast.
