We are seeking a highly motivated individual with good written and verbal communication skills needed to deliver to and set up oxygen and medical equipment in patients' homes within a 5 county area in the Triangle and surrounding counties. Applicant must pass both a drug screen, background and reference check.
Service Technician skills
Traveling to customers? homes set up by appointment to deliver to and set up oxygen and medical equipment in patients' homes
Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
Lincare's Medical Service Technicians must be team players
Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and logs
Our Medical Service Technicians must become familiar all company?s procedures and protocols.
Ability to communicate independently and verbally with personable and effective speaking skills ? excellent communications skills.
Be fully aware of safety procedures in delivery and setup of respiratory equipment.
Responsible for the training/education of patients and/or caregivers on the safe and proper use of respiratory equipment purchased or rented. This function is to be carried out under the supervision of, and at the discretion of, the appropriate clinical and/or managerial personnel.
Service Technician requirements
Must be 21 years of age and be able to lift 125 lbs.
Must meet job-related requirements to comply with DOT.
Service Tech / Installation Experience preferred
Our Medical Service Technicians must possess a High School diploma
Pass Background Check and Drug Screening
Customer Service Oriented
Maintains a good appearance, attired according to the standards of the operating unit. Uniforms must be clean and neat.
