Controller Job Opening in Farmington, Missouri - Talentforce is currently recruiting a Controller for one the top manufacturing companies in the St Francis area. This position manages the daily financial related activities of the organization, implements key performance metrics and maintains a system of internal controls to ensure the accuracy and availability of financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain all accounting records in accordance with company policy as well as GAAP.
- Provide management and owners with qualified financial analysis and advice in matters such as,
pricing, cost reductions, asset management, forecasting and the budgeting process.
- Help lead the implementation and success of the cycle count system.
- Monitor costing system to ensure proper cost of goods sold is captured.
- Work closely with the CFO on ad hoc projects and possible merger & acquisition work.
- Assist in business continuous improvement efforts, projects and initiatives.
- Work closely with operations management, sales and Executive teams to understand and
communicate financial and operational results.
- Mange annual audit with independent auditors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years relative work experience as a Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller,
Controller or equivalent with 4 years in a manufacturing environment.
- BA/BS degree in accounting or related field required.
- CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
