Bookkeeping Paraprofessional Job Opening in Tallahassee, Florida - Growing Tallahassee CPA firm seeks full-time paraprofessional to provide bookkeeping services to multiple clients. Duties include posting and reconciling transactions in QuickBooks, preparing quarterly and annual payroll returns, preparing sales tax returns, preparing year-end 1099s, client communications, and training clients on QuickBooks as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Works well in a fast paced environment
Works independently and is a self-starter
Good with client communications; customer service oriented
Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. Prior experience with both is required
Knowledge of accounting and understanding of financial statements is required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred
Prior CPA firm experience is a plus
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; experience may substitute for Bachelor?s
2 years bookkeeping experience preferred
Must be able to work overtime January-April, but we offer a flexible schedule
