Resident Manager/ Assistant Property Manager Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - Market and show apartment vacancies and so much more. Candidate must be willing to work full time. Sometimes juggle days to show rentals in early evening or weekend. This residential position requires taking charge when the property manager is not present. Salary $45,000 to start plus free one bedroom or efficiency apartment. Requirement to live on site starts after a trial period.
Work equal time outside the office as at your desk. Administrative assistants and accounting clerks need not apply.
Assist property manager, work towards advancement. Resolve tenant requests, coordinate service needs and supervise repairs with 6-10 person maintenance staff, and independent contractors. Assist in repairs occasionally. Purchase materials and hardware. Physically inspect property, vacancies. Plan renovations and suggest proactive maintenance and cost saving procedures.
Seven years of skill related experience required.
Must have own vehicle to get supplies and go from building to building, and to pick up supplies.
Supervisory or previous job experience in building trades (a real plus)
Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Social media.
Customer Oriented with ability to work with different personalities,
Highly organized and capable of multitasking
Working knowledge of marketing and leasing
