Sales Coordinator (Hotel) Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - Join the team at the Holiday Inn and Suites Phoenix Airport North and help us soar to new heights! We are seeking seasoned sales professionals highly motivated with experience in Hotel Sales & Marketing who will conduct outside sales calls, obtain key business accounts, conduct site tours and telemarked.
This individual will be responsible for promotional material, some administrative duties, constant communication with Sales Management Team and General Manager to include, weekly meetings, action plans and sales activity logs. You can be the key to our success!
Job Responsibilities
Prospect and sell the hotel's facilities and rooms to groups and organizations looking to hold conferences or events.
Promptly respond to all inquiries addressing all client?s concerns
Maintain accurate record of all client correspondence and trace dates for follow up
Adhere to all standards and procedures of the brand and management company
Maintain a working relationship with departments interacting with group business
Maintain a high degree of fiscal responsibility when negotiating agreements
Job Requirements
Previous sales experience in the hotel industry necessary.
Four year college degree or equivalent educational experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate in current operating software including Delphi, Word and Excel.
Highly motivated individual with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
Strong time management skill.
Background Check and Drug Test are required previous hiring process.
