Sales Manager Job Opening in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - The Sales Manager is responsible for establishing new Group Business, National, Regional and Local Negotiated Accounts and maintaining strong trusted relationships with our current clients. The Sales Manager will work closely with other the management team to maximize revenues ensuring the hotels continued success and profitability. This position is critical to the success of the hotel and requires an individual who is naturally at ease with people, can think quickly on their feet and is determined to succeed. This position will be heavily focused on prospecting for new business by cold calling in person.
Duties and Responsibilities
Acquire and maintain a solid base of accounts towards attaining the property?s budgeted profit levels.
Solicit sales for the property through planned, personal calls and telephone solicitations to local trade and professional , travel agents, as well as other local and state organizations that could result in potential business for the hotel.
Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
Take initiative to develop new strategies and uncover new markets to generate sales.
Provide operations staff up-to-the-minute information regarding specific accounts..
