Controller Job Opening in Lake Zurich, Illinois - A $2M not-for-profit trade association in Lake Zurich, a Northwest suburb of Chicago, is seeking an individual to be responsible for accounting functions, financial reporting, investment management, business insurance, and annual budgets.
In addition, candidate must have experience with managing human resources, payroll, and employee benefits for a small office of 12 people. The individual will report to the Executive Vice President and serve as staff liaison to the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, familiarity with Peachtree
5-years? experience as Financial Manager or Assistant Controller, with supervisory experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, and Outlook proficiency
IT background and exposure to website and data base maintenance
Able to take on many roles throughout the office
