BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree accepted
2 + years current experience in FOOD QUALITY for a food or beverages manufacturing company
HACCP Certification required
SQF/BRC or GFCI Equivalent Certificate is required
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to coach and manage staff
Bilingual in the English and Spanish language (Spanish is a must)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office product suite capability including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
BASIC DUTIES
Identification and achievement of the facility Quality key point indicators through appropriate actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Train associates on all aspects of the Food Safety and Quality Systems
Monitor, review and maintain records generated by HACCP, SQF and pre-?requisite programs.
Ensure SQF, FDA, Customer, and other regulatory requirements are being followed.
Work with operators and managers to assure all specifications are met prior to authorizing release of product.
Actively participates in all internal and external auditing preparation and follow up activities.
Support for SQF/HACCP functions and lead the development of new quality systems/programs across the facility to provide Quality support/resources for commercialization projects with new clients.
Assist in developing and implementing required programs and policies.
