Equipment -Staff Accountant Job Opening in Plano, Texas - RPM xConstruction, LLC is currently seeking an Entry level Equipment Staff Accountant for a fast-growing construction company that has a wide range of accounting responsibilities. The position reports directly to the Assistant Controller, but will work closely with the entire corporate finance team.
Equipment Staff Accountant Job Duties:
Record fixed asset additions, disposals, and reconcile monthly.
Reconcile monthly truck allowances paid vs employee truck fleet utilized
Maintain and manage the corporate Fleet NTTA toll tags
Monitor and maintain the GPS reporting for all systems ? Heavy and Light Fleet
Review and reconcile company fleet fuel system.
Maintain and manage assets rented ? employee vehicles and rental equipment
Process equipment and pick-up billings to projects weekly.
Work with Service Manager on implementing additional software processes of company?s ERP accounting system.
Monitor Core Credits with major vendor accounts are issued.
Manage the corporate inventory on all field and office assets ? small tools, trailers, heavy equipment, heavy trucks and light trucks.
Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time by the CFO or Controller.
Serve as a back-up for the processing work orders and purchase orders for the fleet management department.
Work with Fleet and Service Managers to run reports on an as needed basis.
Skills and Qualifications:
An Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business with 1-2 years of experience as an Accountant or similar position is required. Basic knowledge of GAAP is preferred. Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications is required and must be highly skilled in Excel. Applicant must demonstrate critically thinking, detail oriented and organized. Must be a self-starter and be able to prioritize multi-tasking.
