We are currently searching for a high energy sales oriented person to join our Inside Sales Team selling to existing and prospective Municipal Park and Recreation accounts. The ideal candidate is someone with a sports background and 2 years of B2B sales experience. Retail sales experience particularly in sporting goods is also a plus.
The position is located at our headquarters in Stoughton, MA and will report to the VP of Special Markets.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generate and qualify new leads.
Call on existing leads and accounts
Manage leads by tracking and following up on them.
Conduct sales presentations and product demos via the phone and internet.
Close sales and meet monthly sales goals in accordance with development plan.
Produce activity reports.
Order/Data Entry
Other projects as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor?s degree required
Minimum 2 years of sales experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure proper and timely follow up
Entrepreneurial mentality and eagerness to grow within the company
Customer/Client Focus oriented personality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven credibility
Motivated by results
Team Player
Knowledge of all sports
Ability and willingness to travel on occasion
