Vice President of Sales Job Opening in Medford, Massachusetts - For the past six years Massachusetts has ranked #1 in energy efficiency out of all 50 states. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic sales professional to lead the growth and success of HomeWorks Energy! The VP of sales will be responsible for driving sales and developing efficiency initiatives for both our inside and outside sales teams. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced start-up culture.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Forecasts revenue growth through analyzing key metrics around the sales pipeline
Develop and scale our sales strategies and processes to achieve our ambitious sales goals
Working closely with the executive team to lead the company?s initiatives
Hiring, training and developing sales staff
Continue to build out and lead the growing sales team
Create a culture of success
Establish budgets and targets
This position will include field travel
Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business
MBA or Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
Have a strong track record of 10+ years of B2C Sales Operations and/or Strategy.
In-home sales or construction is preferred
Entrepreneurial or start-up experience a plus
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Proven leadership skills
Compensation commensurate with experience
