Financial Analyst Job Opening in Kansas City, Kansas - Sekisui XenoTech, LLC is currently hiring for a Financial Analyst . This role will be responsible for the development and completion of financial and business analytics to provide management with insights to improve business decision making quality and cycle-time and enable a higher level of operations and sales performance.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
Pull and manipulate large volumes of data from databases for financial and business analytics, primarily using SQL, Oracle, Access, and/or Performance Point
Develop a framework to compile and analyze accounting records and other data of product and service type cost structure to enable fact based pricing decisions and resources required to implement a program
Develop and publish monthly profitability reporting by product and service type, Account Manager, and Study Director
Develop and publish weekly and monthly KPI reporting to document the performance of the operations and sales organizations
Creates and maintains Nintex Workflows to assist in business needs such as purchase requisitions, contract and project estimate signing.
Assists with cost analysis, annual budget preparation, fiscal allocation in the annual budget process, establishing targets, assisting management in the preparation of departmental budgets that meet or exceed targets, and analyzing division or departmental budget requests to identify areas of opportunity
Input annual budget into company?s financial accounting system
Directs the monthly forecast process, establishing targets, evaluating trends, and analyzing division or departmental results to identify areas of opportunity and to maintain expenditure controls.
Leads cross functional teams in the achievement of overarching goals
Periodically makes presentations to all levels of management

Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting and 3+ years related experience required
CPA or Master?s Degree preferred.
Literate and proficient in utilization of personal computers and peripheral equipment.
Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Crystal Reports, working with Sequel, Oracle and Access databases.
Experience with Great Plains preferred.
