Data Collector - Monterey Area Job Opening in monterey, California - Data Collector - Monterey Area This is a great job for a stay-at-home mom or a retired individual looking for a little extra spending money, although it can fit into many schedules. Duties Include: Visit the city and county offices located in the advertised area each week or as otherwise stated. While at the city and county offices you will make copies of public information documents which you will then submit to our office via the internet. Must be thorough and complete in your collection duties. You will need to be able to present yourself well and communicate professionally when you work with the cities and be able to resolve difficulties if they should ever arise in the access to the permits. Weekly Visits: Monterey and Pacific Grove Bi-Weekly: Carmel-by-the-Sea Compensation apx. $170.00 monthly General Information for Data Collectors: Required Equipment- Independent Contractors will need to furnish their own equipment with the exception for a tri-pod which Construction Monitor will supply you with and will need to be used to take pictures of the public information documents. You will need to own the following equipment. Digital Camera of 3 mega pixel or better. Storage card 256mb or better. New or recent (within 5 years or less manufacture date) personal computer. High speed Internet; Cable, DSL or better. Reliable transportation, registered and insured and posses a valid Drivers License. Cell phone for remote communications strongly encouraged. Construction Monitor will not be responsible for any maintenance costs or purchase costs related to the equipoment you use to complete this work as an Independent Contractor. Please email a resume.
