Accounting/HR Manager Job Opening in Billings, Montana - Job Summary: The candidate should have experience working in a professional environment accounting, finance, business administration or equivalent business experience, as well as knowledge and strong experience of bookkeeping, HR and payroll processing and generally accepted accounting principles. Knowledge and experience in accounting software is a plus.
This position is responsible for performing all accounting and HR responsibilities of the company including but not limited to:
Preparation of journal entries performs account analyses, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations. Review of AR, AP output.
Closing month-end reviews and analyzes account balances.
Reviewing accounts payable for business accurately and on a timely basis.
Processing bi-weekly payroll accurately.
Reviewing related AP and payroll reporting on a timely basis.
Maintaining an organized filing system and accounting office.
Adhering to all accounting policies and procedures.
Processing new hires, maintaining employee?s files for completion and accuracy, managing health insurance, works comps, 401 and other benefits, ensuring company policies are followed and executed.
Assist the President in other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and make suggestions and decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
High moral character and strong attendance record.
Ability to work in a rapid pace environment, self-driven, motivated with positive attitude.
Detail oriented with good analytical skills.
Team Player.
Polite, courteous and excellent customer service skills
