We are currently seeking a Commercial Loan Associate at our East Village location in Des Moines, Iowa. The Commercial Loan Associate is responsible for performing a variety of work tasks supporting the Bank?s lending activities. The Loan Associate will be responsible for preparing documentation for consumer, residential, commercial, and agricultural loans, including but not limited to, asset-based, participated loans, SBA and other Specialty Lending Programs for Iowa State Bank, as well as lines of credit, letters of credit, renewals, modifications, and change in terms agreements.
It is preferred that candidates that express an interest in this invitation have an Associate?s degree in finance, accounting, or business; a minimum of one year of loan processing or other relevant experience; working knowledge and experience with loan documentation, required entity documentation for various business entities, and documentation required to secure the Bank?s lien, including real estate; understanding of state and federal regulations and compliance requirements; ability to learn and utilize Desktop Originator and findings in accordance with FannieMae guidelines and procedures and a desire to learn and adapt to understanding secondary market and real estate programs and guidelines, including full-service; proficiency in Microsoft Office software; knowledge of Laser Pro software and FiServ; must demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy; ability to work within tight deadlines; ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask with frequent interruptions.
