The Tax Manager is a critical member of our team who has the ability to plan, direct, execute and complete tax projects and compliance efforts across a variety of industries. Our Tax Manager will be able to manage, direct and monitor multiple client projects and meet project deadlines.
Essential Functions
Prepare and conduct reviews of federal and state income tax returns for corporate, S corp., partnership and individual clients
Contribute to the service team by producing quality work and attentive service to our clients
Understand and manage firm risk on tax services performed
Serve as a subject matter expert and resource to partners and staff accountants
Develop staff technical skills
Ability to identify value-added opportunities and work in a team environment to develop business
Job Qualifications
CPA license is required
Bachelor?s degree in accounting or other related program; MST is a plus
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting is required
Client focused
Ability to juggle multiple tasks
Superior problem solving ability
Strong management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in use of current computer software related to accounting and tax programs
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability and willingness to travel
QuickBooks experience a plus
