Operations Coordinator Job Opening in Georgetown, Kentucky - Position Summary
The position will assist in daily operational duties surrounding VASCOR Brokerage and VASCOR LTD Operations. In addition to VASCOR Brokerage operations, this position will be cross-trained to support the Customer Service Center Manager with all administrative functions specific to the operations of the Center as well as cross-trained as a CSC Operations Coordinator that will support our logistics business line.
Position Responsibilities:
Monitor, Manage, Troubleshoot, and Resolve customer brokerage orders in McLeod TMS by using daily/weekly KPI data on the VIP. Interfacing with the VASCOR CSC over order track and trace and any carrier/customer issues that occur. Ensuring that the critical operations data in McLeod is accurate and updated timely including all relevant billing data is correct in the system.
Cross Training will include:
Supports all administrative route change functions for the logistics group, audit flat files for route changes, prepares LIMS for defined route changes, prepare data for monthly invoices specific to sequencing business lines Vuteq, Seats for TMMI and TMMK, update driver data base by carrier into LIMS for route changes and prepares multiple documents for route changes and route change week
Maintain Expedite database and provide invoice information to Accounting when expedites occur in the Logistics department.
Enter daily/weekly non Milk Run order data into McLeod system (Shuttles & LTL)
Other McLeod/VTM data integration projects as assigned
Essential Skills and Experience:
Education
High School or associates degree preferred.
Training

Skills
Advanced personal computer skills. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to navigate through the Internet and McLeod TMS.
High level of verbal and written communications skills.
High level of problem solving, planning & organizational skills.
Experience
Logistics expertise (multi-mode transportation and supply chain management).
Strong ability to deal with the unknown, possess tolerance of ambiguity.
Knowledge of Toyota Production Systems.
