Linux Systems Administrator Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - Linux Systems Administrator technology is currently looking for an experienced linux system administrator to work with a growing international company in the south denver. this is a fantastic opportunity to expand your linux experience in a fast-paced enterprise environment supporting high level proprietary software hosted on their network for video-conferencing solutions. you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively to ensure the best possible experience for end clients and customers.the ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of linux experience and have a passion for learning new skills. this linux system administrator role is a full-time opportunity. if you are interested in expanding your career, then apply for this linux administrator position today! for direct consideration, please send your resume to the main responsibilities for this role include: - influence and develop new designs, architectures, standards and methods for large-scale distributed systems - support day to day operations of server infrastructure and ensure high levels of uptime -triage, maintain and resolve client requests - build effective working relationships with internal and external clients - work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements in order to drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions - ensure servers, load-balancers, and data storage are maintained across different locations - plan service capacity, forecast demand, analyze software performance, and tune systems - application support and software administration for custom proprietary application - create and verify data backups - upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution the ideal candidate will have all or most of the following: - experience in system configuration, maintenance, and administration of linux servers in a red hat enterprise or centos environment - excellent interpersonal skills - experience implementing high availability systems - administration experience using tools including, wsus, nagios and veeam - experience in system analysis and design as well as solid understanding of development and integration methodologies - expertise in crafting, analyzing and fixing large-scale distributed systems - experience in high bandwidth http traffic, content delivery and caching nice to haves: - working knowledge of clustered and virtual storage solutions supporting vmware and windows technologies - conferencing backgrounds - experience with adobe connect on premise integrations - telecommunications experience - french spoken language skills
