Accounting Assistant Job Opening in Brunswick, Maine - Artforms is a leading designer and producer of screen printed garments sold to retail locations around the country and the Caribbean, including its own stores, Cool As A Moose. We are located on Maine Street in the heart of Brunswick, Maine.
We have an opening for a customer-friendly accounting assistant with AP/AR and some general ledger experience to join our 3-person accounting team. Responsibilities include AP, AR, collections, monthly reports, fielding customer inquiries and routine filing.
Qualifications: · Associates degree in accounting or equivalent· 2+ years experience with AP/AR, Quickbooks, and general ledger· Strong computer skills; working knowledge of Excel · Organized, efficient, detail oriented, and able to problem-solve independently· Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication abilities· Proven ability to perform accurately, ethically, and in a timely manner· Experience in a wholesale, manufacturing or retail accounting setting a plus.
