POSITION DESCRIPTION
Sales Associate- Evenings and weekend availability. Part-time- 15-20 hours a week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Ensures 100% greet is achieved with all customers.
Efficiently and productively set merchandise according to instructions.
Provides customer service throughout the store.
Works as a team player to complete major displays and transformations.
Assists in Seasonal blitzes.
Strong knowledge and understanding of merchandising, display themes, colors, and props.
Accurately tickets merchandise (as needed).
Maintains the sales floor in clean and orderly condition, straightens sales floor at the end of each shift.
Assists customers in a friendly courteous manner.
Attends work as scheduled with minimum deviation or change in schedule.
Reports any problems, injuries, complaints, innovations, defects, or improvements to Store Management.
Uses "suggestive selling" techniques.
Completes other duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory duties.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
