Medical Sales Representative - Territory Manager Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Seeking experienced, high-performing Women?s Health medical sales candidates with 3 or more years' experience in any or all of the following physician specialty areas: , Gastroenterology, and/or Urology .
The Territory Manager will be responsible for quickly building business with medical doctors, practices, clinics and facilities; growing current business and targeting and securing profitable new business by building relationships and driving new sales growth. The Territory includes the greater Atlanta area.
Education and Experience:
3-5 years relevant business experience, at least 3 years direct sales experience required
Bachelor?s degree required, advanced degree preferred
Documented sales success
Demonstrated top 10% performance in critical competencies
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Sales account management experience strongly preferred. Industry experience with OB/GYN and Gastroenterology and/or Urology
Key Responsibilities:
Develop quarterly plans designed to achieve revenue targets.
Leverage existing physician and facility relationships to market the company's services.
Clinical excellence in pelvic disease states.
Build sustainable business relationships.
Drive sales revenue to exceed company objectives by conducting sales calls to promote and sell products and services to existing and competitive customers.
Define and develop new business opportunities that clearly reflect the company's pelvic health vision and priorities.
Build and maintain sustainable strategic relationships in key accounts.
Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Stay current on products / services / competitive knowledge.
Focused individual committed to building trusting relationships with key physicians and their staff while educating and selling them on our highly effective services.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, creative and critical-thinking expertise, and the ability to identify potential problems and proactively facilitate solutions aimed at improving our performance standards
Ability to learn, understand, and communicate complex medical information
Successful in both independent and team settings to achieve optimal strategic objectives
Highly effective organizational skills
Solid computer and application skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet research and navigation, various social media
Results-oriented with demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans to build the our brand and increase revenue
Demonstrated ability to lead, show initiative, and execute solid judgment and decision-making skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting towards meeting established marketing objectives and sales goals
Ability to build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with employees and external contacts (i.e. MD and office staff) at all levels, demonstrating the awareness of their needs and responding with the appropriate action.
Candidates must be able to successfully pass background and drug screen investigations.
