Inside / Outside Sales - Two Way Radio Job Opening in Lincoln, Nebraska - Shaffer Communications is a local Kenwood, ICOM, and Vertex two-way radio dealership. We work with clients in government, manufacturing, healthcare, mining/construction, and other local business/industry. Shaffer's has been servicing customers in Eastern Nebraska since the 1960's with a sincere desire to help each customer construct a two-way radio system that is right for their needs. We also provide commercial / public safety vehicle up-fitting, and sell commercial GPS Fleet Tracking solutions.
Qualifications:
Experience in two-way radio sales, ideally with an understanding of trunking systems, FCC Licensing, 2-way radio systems and accessories to compose quotations.
Ability to initiate contact and mix with current and potential customers. Local travel to customer sites.
Familiar with E-mail, Facebook and other networking venues to initiate promotions.
Detailed and organized for follow-up with current and potential customers.
Experience with computers, Outlook, Excel, and Quickbooks.
Punctual and dedicated.
Comfortable on the phone.
Comfortable working in a small business environment.
This is not an entry-level position.
Education:
2 or 4 year degree in electronics or telecommunications preferred.
Compensation:
Base salary + commission
