Summary
The Software Developer is responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of A+W Software and will provide programming services tailored to clients? business needs, strategies and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Work directly with new and existing customers to define customizations that will interface with their machinery
Design, test, and develop software to meet business and user needs
Perform complex programming assignments requiring an advanced aptitude of established programming standards, methods, and best practices
Define systems scope, objectives and functionality based on user input; understand business processes and industry requirements
Develop and implement a consistent and integrated product strategy (and tactics) for products to meet established sales or market share targets
Develop, implement and maintain consistent quality management
Organize information to assist in analyzing future products and make recommendations for the development of future products
Further develop and improve the existing quality management system
Research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service and contributed data
Required Skills/Expected Behaviors:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of solid, proven development experience with C, C++ and C#
3+ years of SQL database experience
Experience with VB, , and Gupta is preferred
Experience in process management
Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Determined, target orientated, and innovative working style
Demonstrate commitment to the company's core values of client satisfaction, continuous improvement and innovation as well as team work
Demonstrate high quality performance to drive competitive advantage and business growth
Willing and able to travel up to 20%
German language fluency is a plus
