Machine Operator Job Opening in Somerset, New jersey - Candidate must have a Machine Operator or Mechanical background and live in New Jersey to be considered for this role. Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours per Week: 40 hours per week
Shift: 6 a.m.-4 p.m. M-F + some Saturdays
Wage: DOE
Job Summary: Operates machinery to stamp, form and weld product. Performs all responsibilities according to safety, predictive and productive systems and processes to support the achievement of the business goals and objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for meeting daily production requirements
Safely operates equipment (press, robotic weld cell, manual assembly) and adheres to safety rules.
Performs inspections and quality checks specific to the area.
Performs daily machine & fixture maintenance.
Keeps work area organized and clean.
Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualified Applicants Must: Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Basic math and measurement skills, used to calculate and work with basic dimensions to produce quality product.
Ability to read and understand basic instructions and work orders.
Familiar with basic manufacturing safety
