Senior Art Director Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - Are you an all-star brainstormer, visual thinker and writer? A Creative Cloud super user? Are you medium agnostic ? print, video, digital? If so, JPA is hiring a Senior Art Director to join our growing digital and creative team at JPA Labs!
We?re looking for someone who sees the visual story in the most exciting to the most mundane. Someone who can concept, but also design websites, social media graphics, collateral, eNewsletters and everything in between. The Art Director will challenge teams to think about client problems in new ways and to push creative boundaries to increase awareness, build credibility and drive behavior change. The position requires a multidisciplinary storyteller passionate about healthcare and helping our clients better serve their patients and communities.
Responsibilities:
Develop creative strategy and beautiful products to solve client communication and marketing challenges
Concept and develop engaging designs, visual identities, rich media and copy with minimal oversight
Generate ideas that excite, inspire and relate to the target audience
Package ideas in a clear, logical and persuasive manner
Drive creative direction with designers, videographers, photographers and production vendors
Remain involved in production to ensure work is delivered on time, in a finalized format
Evolve, teach and champion processes and tools that facilitate creative development
Mentor junior creative team members to enhance creative quality and skill sets
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, under various deadlines
Qualifications
6+ years of graphic design, copywriting and/or videography within an agency
Proficient using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
A compelling portfolio of wok generating campaign concept, tactics and activations
Proven experience managing the creative process and team ? from concept to delivery ? flexibly and with ease
Strong interpersonal skills to build consensus and work with integrated account teams
Fluent in today?s technologies and media with respect to design, communications and marketing
Healthcare experience preferred
Education
Bachelor?s degree or higher
