Office Manager Job Opening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Handles all supervisory responsibilities for the Sales, Accounting, Human Resources, and Administrative functions, These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, making recommendations for selection and termination decisions, counseling employees for corrective action purposes, monitoring work schedules, managing performance aspects of Sales, Accounting, Human Resources and Administrative job duties, ensuring adherence to all safety policies, procedures, standards and regulations, and ensuring that employees meet all quality assurance and quality improvement standards.
Handles all Human Resources requirements of the job including, but not limited to
New Hire paperwork to be completed by new employees.
Monitoring when employees are eligible for employee benefits.
Setup new employees in QuickBooks.
Performs all Administrative duties including, but not limited to:
Answering phones and submitting phone messages to the correct person.
Filing and copying documentation as required.
Faxing over lunch menus to the appropriate restaurant during class days.
Signing up students on our class rooster and sending out confirmation emails.
Office maintenance which includes cleaning and organization of the offices to keep a clean and neat appearance for our office space.
Shipment of orders from Safety Connection to Client site via UPS website.
Reconciles Credit Card receipts to invoice.
Performs all Accounting duties including, but not limited to:
Handles assigned Accounts Payable duties.
Handles assigned Accounts Receivable duties.
Handles assigned Payroll duties.
Making daily bank deposits.
Processing Sales, Federal, and State taxes.
Performs all Sales duties including, but not limited to:
Handles assigned Sales quotes, orders, invoices, purchase orders for all Equipment, Training On Site and Off Site, Inspections, Installation, Consulting, and Auditing.
Handles administrative duties associated with the inventory control program.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $32,000.00 to $35,000.00 /year
Required education:
High school or equivalent
Required experience:
Accounting: 5 years
