Job Summary:
Canvas Construction Group is a full-service renovation and construction company. We are seeking knowledgeable, dependable Business Development Manager with experience in commercial ground up and finish outs. Projects and prospecting will be in the DFW areas.
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to substantially expand new business and grow existing business within the construction industry
Engaging and highly effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills that cultivate and grow lasting business relationships both internally and externally
Proficient with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and profitability
Able to engage and strategize with leadership team to drive revenue.
Create and execute project estimates and work plans
Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and material supplier quotes
Identify resources needed and assign crew responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects and scopes
Minimize our exposure and risk on a project
Provide project documents that are complete and accurate
Ensure crews and subcontractors perform quality work according to plans and specifications
Successfully manage project budgets and track expenses on a regular basis
Ensure timely project completion and accurate invoicing
Effectively maintain and retain good customers by building long-term relationships
Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Experience estimating the cost and profit of a project
Managing construction projects with budget constraints
Ability to read and understand blueprints and discuss with site crews and clients
Must have strong problem solving skills
Salary: $55,000-$65,000 Base plus commissions
