Accounting Associate Job Opening in New York, New york - We are looking for an Entry level Accounting Associate to join our team. For immediate consideration, a resume must be submitted. A cover letter is preferred but not required.
Client Details: Our client is a leading retail organization in Midtown Manhattan
Responsibilities:
Assist in close process
Inventory reconciliation between warehouses
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Maintain all record files and documentations related to A/R
Analyze and review A/R aging report
Insure integrity of financial reporting and compliance with GAAP
Ad-hoc projects as needed
Profile
Bachelor's Degree required , Accounting or Finance preferred
1-2 years of relevant experience OR Accounting internship experience
Understanding of GAAP
Knowledge of Excel
Self-starter and good communication skills
