Sales Support Representative Job Summary:
Primary responsibility is to professionally communicate and collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives to serve our customers. To act as the day to day central point of contact for Outside Sales Representatives overseeing data entry, special order, scheduling, delivery, estimating and warranty.
Sales Support Representative & Duties:
Learn company products, procedures, culture and customer service philosophy.
Communicate daily with OSR?s .
Meet, greet and be a point of contact for our customers when they are in the store.
Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers.
Answer incoming phone calls.
Understand profit margins and how to maintain them.
Attend training sessions to learn and keep current on products we sell.
Maintain knowledge of vendors, vendor books and discount structures.
Assist OSR?s with order entry, quote input, special ordering and proper flow of paperwork.
Create Door Shop work orders and order specialty products for those work orders.
Work with OSR?s to document and replace warranty items with Vendors.
Communicate with OSR?s, Vendors and customers to properly order special order materials.
Read and decipher blueprints or architectural drawings to determine type and number of products.
Develop estimated cost of the project and prepare a quote package using knowledge of standard company pricing, discounts, and estimating formulas and guidelines.
Prepare quote packages for OSR?s including quote, product literature, install instructions and rebate forms.
Interact with and advise customers on technical aspects of inquiries when more in-depth analysis is required.
Qualifications & Requirements of Cabinet Designer:
Motivated self starter
Positive and energetic attitude
Strong attention to detail
Strong understanding of organizing and prioritizing
Ability to form strong relationships with customers
Knowledge of basic math and measurement skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read and understand blueprints and architectural drawings
Physical strength to lift and carry 50lbs
High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or Associate?s Degree
Minimum of one (1) years in estimating and product ordering experience
Design or estimating background preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
