AX Developer Job Opening in Bedford, Ohio - Position Summary:
The Dynamics AX Developer will be involved in the ongoing support of the newly implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 system. This role will assist in the design and development of deliverables identified through conversations with system analysts, end users, and third party groups. The position requires familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle in particular, and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
Design and code additions and updates to current AX system.
Manage multiple Dynamics AX environments, promoting AX models while following established Microsoft Best Practices, and company development control protocols.
Work with project managers, system analysts, end users, and the development team to identify and implement innovative solutions to business needs..
Perform debugging and testing of all AX code and provide support with any issues related to production or development environments.
Complete all phases of software development to include design and planning, development, unit testing, QA testing, installation, deployment, and support.
Create and maintain functional requirements and technical specification documentation.
Develop in MS Dynamics AX 2012 using X++, SSRS, and C# development languages.
Maintain familiarity with other Object Oriented languages, C#, , Java, and the Framework.
Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position):
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience.
3 years of development experience using X++ and MorphX IDE in Dynamics AX.
Strong experience developing in AX 2012.
Dynamics AX integration knowledge (AIF, Web Services).
Experience working with web development including Visual Studio Web Project
5 years of experience performing IT responsibilities.
Demonstrate familiarity with other Object Oriented languages, C#, , Java, and the Framework.
May be required to work outside normal business hours on a needed basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical bachelor?s degree or related field of study.
5 years development experience using X++ and MorphX IDE in Dynamics AX.
R3 experience with SSAS and SSRS.
Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL 2008/2012 and database design.
Experience in maintaining multiple Dynamics AX environments and thorough understanding of application development life cycle and familiarity of large scale software implementation methodologies.
