Our client is seeking a SharePoint Collaboration Specialist. This role will be a lead efforts regarding Office 365 (O365), SharePoint and all collaboration tools and will be located in their World HQ?s.
What You Will Do
The SharePoint Collaboration Specialist manages the Corporate and Global O365 SharePoint environment, working with business team members to meet corporate collaboration needs. This involves hands on SharePoint activities and assisting in developing SharePoint standards and best practices. The SharePoint Collaboration Specialist works closely with site content owners providing support and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Configure SharePoint Online, provision sites, manage shared services, manage permissions, and implement and maintain policies and procedures.
Partner with O365 Administrator and service desk personnel to manage changes and incidents affecting SharePoint.
Work with the IS Training and Communications Lead to create an organizational training plan to increase user proficiency with the product.
Assist with planning, deploying, and managing intranet presence and site functionality.
Act as the primary organizational point of contact for all issues related to SharePoint.
Assist in the development and implementation of an organizational content management plan.
Assist in the implementation of an organizational records management plan for content hosted by SharePoint. Develop, promote and monitor SharePoint best practices.
Provide guidance and support to organizational Knowledge Management personnel (SharePoint site owners).
Participate as an active member on the SharePoint Governance Committee.
Develop, implement and enforce SharePoint Governance standards.
Translate business requirements into SharePoint initiatives.
Document SharePoint system design, build, changes and fixes.
Participate in all SharePoint related projects.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
2 ? 3 years of experience performing the SharePoint duties described above. Experience with SharePoint Online is preferred.
Demonstrated contribution and collaboration in a team environment.
Demonstrated experience in SharePoint governance and best practices.
Experience working in a high-availability environment, providing 24x7 service. Knowledge of software development life cycles such as waterfall and agile.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
